Destin really is the City of Blessings and we can add South Walton too!  I am finding the blessings come from our Lord in how He uses His people to bless others.  The outpouring from our community to the McMinn Family is an amazing testimony of how we love one another. This past week we were able to bless Stephanie and the children with meals (www.takethemameal.com) and with payment of their rent, brake repair on her car, food and necessities!  

In addition, local businesses are blessing us as well.  At this writing, local businesses donated four new prizes to add the raffle.  Now each child can draw a ticket on October 28, 2011. You will be able to see the drawings on Neighbor Vision on the web.

My husband, Jeff and I, have visited Chance twice this week and have had the opportunity to pray for him and talk to Chance.  He is still unable to communicate with us except for a thumbs up.  We had the opportunity yesterday to witness Stephanie caring for him and cleaning his trach area and ministering such love to her husband.  The strength Stephanie has reveals God's grace during times of trials and testing.  Her attitude is one of gratitude, she is very upbeat and she is speaking positively in to Chance's life with healing words and love!  She is a testimony to all of those that meet her at the rehab.
The children are doing well and are going to see their Dad on a regular basis while keeping up with their school activities and homework.  
Stephanie has generously given of her time and resources to make the surrounding community a better place. Stephanie McMinn started a non-profit foundation, “Be Generous Inc” to help others in need. The primary mission of this non-profit is to raise awareness and resources about homelessness and hunger. Stephanie was (and still is) passionate about helping families regain stability, giving them the hope of God and faith in themselves and others.
Stephanie spearheaded donation efforts for clothing, non-perishable food and essential items, including diaper drives for Be Generous. Stephanie is a testimony for Christ in her daily walk.
She and her family spent many weekends delivering truck loads of diapers and clothing to those in need and offering moral support and encouragement. Now, she and her family are in need of this community’s support and encouragement.
